THE BUSINESS

Our client is a market leading manufacturer & distributor of agricultural products through the whole of the UK. Our client is looking to hire an exceptional Sales Manager with a strong background in Sales. The role is to be based in Knaresborough.

THE ROLE

Supporting the Sales Team with your specialist Knowledge in Customer site visits Face-to-face meetings to discuss mixes / projects

Supporting the brand team such as, Key Account Manager, Production Team and Buying Team

Building rapport and trust with customers

Improving sales (turnover and profit, wherever possible)

Helping the business to become number one choice for wildflowers in the UK

Day-to-day management (including 1-2-1’s and reviews)

Create bespoke CPD’s where needed and deliver stock Wildflower for various business such as Landscape Architects, Garden Designers and Local Authorities

Dealing with general wildflower enquiries as they arise through phone calls, emails and website enquiries

Representing the company by attending trade event and award events.

Providing Marketing material and knowledge as required, for Catalogues / Brochures / Leaflets

Creating and delivering training sessions for all Sales Members

Communicating new industry knowledge and information to relevant teams within the business

Monitoring monthly brand figures versus budget, work with staff to improve sales where required

Reviewing account performance and liaise with the business and customers to develop new ideas

Acting as specialist knowledge base (Flora Native and Euroflor)

Provide monthly reports to the Business Development Director

Supporting with technical knowledge and relevant experience when objections and complaints occur.

Championing the business brand at all times, to all audiences!

Very strong sales background – preferably in seed sales

Outgoing personality
