Established in 2000, Modern Networks are a growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Internet Service Provider (ISP) specialising in providing services to the property management sector and commercial businesses nationwide. We work closely with our customers to deliver a wide range of IT services from endpoint technology to connectivity and telephony.

Working within our on-site Account Management Team in Hitchin, our Sales Administrators play an integral role supporting our Account Managers with the overall sales process.

What you’ll be Doing

* Managing internal sales processes including processing orders, contracts, quote generation

* Monitoring and renewing service agreements, software licenses, and hardware warranties

* Proactively contacting customers to confirm agreement renewal information and costs, ensuring contact details are correct and up to date

* Respond promptly to all internal and external queries received to optimise sales activities and provide the highest level of service to clients

* Actively manage tickets raised, ensure they are escalated when appropriate, and update information on an ongoing basis

* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all customer requests are picked up within relevant timescales.

* Take ownership of administrative problems that arise and use initiative to bring them to a positive close

* Ensure that our current sales processes and procedures are adhered to at the highest standard and that Modern Networks continues to develop a reputation for excellence and quality

What we’re looking for:

* You’re self-driven and results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering high quality service to our customers.

* You’re comfortable working within a high-performance team within a fast-paced environment

* You have good attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy with strong time management and prioritisation skills

* You’ve got excellent communication skills – ability to deliver the message in a clear and succinct manner

* You’re conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and have previous experience of using online CRM systems
