Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £28000/annum

We’re hiring for a Sales Administrator to join an award-winning family run manufacturer based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside.

Reporting into the General Manager and joining a very hands-on team, your role will involve supporting the engineering, production, sales, and finance departments relating to the spare parts area of the business.

What will you be doing as a Sales Administrator?

* Providing quotations to customers for the sale of spare parts

* Obtaining quotations and placing purchase orders on suppliers

* Expediting orders placed with suppliers

* Updating the company Sales CRM system as spare parts opportunities progress

* Creating Production Orders for the manufacture of spare parts

* Creating Sales Orders in the company business system

* Answering customer questions regarding the quotation and sale of spare parts and order progress

* Identifying the required spare parts from assembly and other technical drawings

* Support the company ISO 9001 Quality Management system, including supporting internal audits, NCRs, OFIs

What do you need?

* Previous experience in a similar role (2+ years or more)

* A manufacturing / technical / engineering background is preferred

* Solid customer service / administration skills

* Excellent communication skills to liaise internally & externally

* Self-driven, organised, and efficient with an eye for quality and detail

What’s nice to have?

* Any engineering qualifications

* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365
