Sales Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £60000/annum pension, car, bonus
My client are offering a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced external System Sales Engineer to continue their growth in the UK. The ideal candidate will have previous proven experience with end of line material handling and palletising system solutions and have a technical electrical / mechanical bias along with commercial ability.
Sales Engineer role:
Home based with travel throughout UK
Technical solutions sales of material handling / palletising systems
Developing and building relationships with my clients potential and existing customers in the UK (predominantly within engineering teams and management teams).
Develop a high level knowledge of the entire company product range.
Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events.
Prepare customers quotations.
Support customer relationships, data, sales leads and enquiries.
Occasional visits to European HQ with support from Sales Director visiting UK.
Sales Engineer requirement:
Engineering degree or technical discipline (mechanical, electrical or electronics qualification would be ideal).
Knowledge of material handling systems, end of line packaging systems, palletising (desirable)
Experience in working in a B 2 B environment.
Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
Computer literate
Strong interpersonal skills and passionate about a career in a technical / commercial environment.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a large customer base.
Sales Engineer package:
Salary £50K – £60K + OTE
