We're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of selling business intelligence solutions across public & private sectors.

The Role:

In the Business Development Manager role you'll be primarily responsible for generating new business within your targeted region, selling business intelligence solutions to public and private sector clients.

You'll report to the Divisional Head of Sales and you'll spend part of the working week in the company's London office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

– Developing a strong and promising pipeline through self-generated leads

– Preparing sales reports including monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

– Travel to you designated territory

– Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have relevant experience of selling business intelligence solutions across public & private sectors.

You'll also need experience of:

– Taking ownership of your territory and develop it with an entrepreneurial spirit

– Managing complex, high value propositions

– Qualifying strategic selling opportunities within target territories/prospects

– A new business hunter role and have proven track record of generating new business and consistently hitting and over-achieving targets

In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:

– Outstanding networking and presenting skill to c-level Executives and key decision makers

– Confidence in communicating and presenting

– Exceptional consultative selling skills

– A true hunter mentality that thrives on winning

– A proven track record of success within a new business role

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– Able to work autonomously whilst being a productive member of a team

– Proficient in relevant software's such as CRM, excel powerpoint, Salesforce, sales navigator etc

– Ideally trained in challenger/spin selling

The Package:

Basic salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum depending on experience

Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £50,000 per annum is also available if you hit your individual targets
