Salary :

VWR, part of Avantor is looking for a Sales Specialist to join us in the South.
In this position, you will support the market growth of our range of LCMS separation products, by collaborating with product design teams and conducting market research to ensure that our offering is current and competitive.
Working hours: Monday-Friday
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Contribute to the sales and growth of Avantor’s own manufactured range of LCMS separation products
* Maintain oversight of products from concept stage through to market launch for assigned products
* Collaborate with various teams through product development stage, offering your knowledge to increase product impact and suitability
* By keeping up with market trends through continual analysis, develop a pipeline of market relevant, science-based innovation
* Execute defined product plans in line with customer demand
* Understand and develop the correct connections with our internal business units in order to maximise growth opportunities
What you’ll need to be successful at Avantor:
* A degree in Chemistry or related discipline
* Knowledge of the scientific application of LCMS and related techniques
* Experience building relationships internationally and across different cultures would be advantageous in this role
* Fluent in oral and written English, knowledge of other languages would also help
* Demonstrable technical knowledge of Chromatography and associated subjects
* Strong influencing skills, and the ability to push back with objections to ideas for the benefit of the products and business
