The Position:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Forest Investment Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:
* Working to Targets, you will be responsible for Business Development activities including: engaging with Landowners, providing advice around woodland creation, forest-management and forest planning.
* You will be heavily engaged with landowners, providing advice based on your breadth of knowledge and in-depth understanding of the industry.
* Building strong, enduring relationships with Clients and colleagues and developing a strong network of contacts.
* You will work closely with Landowners in managing applications to the Forestry Grant Schemes.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a similar role and environment (essential).
* BSc, HND or equivalent qualification in Forestry.
* You will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience within the forest industry or be able to demonstrate the same level of experience. Those with other relevant rural backgrounds may also be considered but must have a demonstrable working knowledge of forestry and the forest industry and current experience in this field.
* Ideally, you should have a good working knowledge and understanding of site planning, working with contractors and site safety management.
* Demonstrable organisation and task management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* A high level of IT literacy skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Demonstrable experience with ArcGIS or QGIS.
* Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters would be preferred.
* As this role will involve frequent travel, (both UK, European and occasionally Worldwide) a current full driving licence is also essential
The Location:
This role is based in Perth but will require frequent travel across the UK and Europe.
