Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum OTE £100k + £6k car allowance

New Business Software Sales Executive to sell leading enterprise application software. The role is home based anywhere in the UK (or you can be office based) but ideally you will be with 2 hours' drive of the Manchester area or London, so that visiting one of their offices is convenient. Base salary to £50k, OTE £100k, car allowance £6k – plus private health care, lots of social events and rewards scheme.

This position is Software Sales of ERP solutions for someone who excels at building relationships, demonstrating a value proposition, and negotiating and closing new business.

You need a track record selling application software, ideally ERP. But it could be something similar such as property software, MRP, HR, workforce management, WMS, inventory forecasting, field service, dealer management, construction software etc.

Typical deal size is £75k-125k of software and services. A £100k deal would include around £70k in licences. So, a target of £500k would mean 8 deals at £70k of license. That should pay you a £100k package. The clients tend to be quite knowledgeable about software; they will all have an existing ERP solution. So selling this solution requires a good degree of consultative selling, understanding the existing set up and focusing on how the product can reduce costs for the client by reducing their stock levels.

They need an experienced Software Sales Executive / BDM with strong new business sales experience to handle the entire sales cycle. You will source and research new clients, handle your own calls, establish interest, set up discovery meetings, create value sales proposals, arrange software demonstrations, complete documentation, negotiate costs and take the sales through to close ensuring targets are met for margin, profit and sales.

You will have a passion for technology, strong experience of managing pipelines and understanding commercial drivers, and plenty of hunger for success.
