Salary : £25000 – £50000/annum commission + bonuses

Your Recruitment Team are delighted to be supporting our client recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team. As an Account Manager you will achieve a set target for your product through the retention and growth (revenue and volume) of an existing client base and the successful closing of new business opportunities within a defined territory.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Account Manager is responsible for maximizing revenues for your product through volume and yield of sales from your assigned client base. This will include;
* The management and growth of an existing business customer base in line with revenue and volume targets set out by your line manager. This will include title and account specific telephone targets.
* The canvassing and closing of new business in line with revenue and volume targets set out by your line manager
* The proactive retention of any cancelling business
* The achievement of agreed performance and behavioral KPI’s
* The active participation in and implementation of any personal or team based training
* The mentoring of new employees as and when required
* Contributing to the team ethic and being a positive ambassador within the team
* The maintenance of all required reporting or contact management systems, e.g. Pulse
* A working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
· Maximize revenues from an existing client base
· Actively source and close new leads
· Ensure you are responsible for generating maximum revenue from your client base in accordance with targets/leads.
· Ensure all agreed activity and performance KPI’s are reached within the agreed timeframes
· Adhere to the rate card at all times (unless otherwise agreed with your line manager)
· Ensure that you fully incorporate the approved/trained selling methods at all times
· Provide accurate feedback re your current sales performance as and when required
· Ensure your line manager is made aware of any issues re any of your clients in a prompt manner
· Monitor incoming cancellation requests and liaise with your line manager and the client to minimize losses

Builds Effective Relationships – Must be able to demonstrate the ability to build and develop excellent client relationships that maximize revenue opportunity and retention

Organisational Skills – Have excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure all set tasks are completed and the sales territory managed effectively
Behaviour towards others – To demonstrate the ability to treat others fairly and behave without prejudice or favoritism
Creativity – consider all possible options in determining the most effective solution.
Responsibility – for your own actions
Full Driving License – for travel to and from client meetings/visits/events
Effective Communication –possess effective communication and negotiation skills
