Location of the Job:

Field based position covering Birmingham, Worcestershire, Swindon, Wales, Cheshire, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire, Cornwall and Dorset.
Ideally you should live central to the territory – Worcestershire / Gloucestershire / Bristol.
Approx. 2 overnight stays per week is a requirement for this role when visiting extremities of the sales territory.Salary & Benefits Package:

A highly competitive basic salary of £42,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
Realistic commission of up to £15,000 per year.

The Job Role Details:

I am now searching for a Regional Sales Manager to cover Western England and Wales – you will have experience in the sales/demonstrations of agricultural and farming machinery to work with a leading farm machinery manufacturer.

You will be responsible for all dealer and customer relationships as well as maintaining the dealer network within the area.

Maintain the dealership network within the trade area.
Present, promote and sell company products to existing and prospective customers establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
Help develop and implement a sales strategy incorporating targets and objectives.
Establish and maintain a level of technical knowledge of the company products.
Analyse and advise on the territory and market's potential, track sales and provide status reports.
Provide after sales support and assistance to customers.
Provide feedback to the design office and service department.
Co-ordinate sales effort with the company team.
Set up and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and dealer open days.
Maintain a knowledge of the agricultural industry.Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

Proven agricultural and farming machinery sales experience.
Self-motivated with high professional standards.
Good practical experience and be capable of presenting and demonstrating farm machinery, both to dealers and farmers.
A knowledge and passion for agriculture will help as a key part of the job will involve identifying marketing opportunities for the farming industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
Able to plan, prioritise and organise your own work schedule.
Be flexible and willing to travel where required for face-to-face dealer/customer meetings.
Good understanding of the Agricultural sector and modern farm machinery.
Good IT skills – with the use of Microsoft Office.
A full UK driving license (B+E license is preferred)Essential Skills:

Agricultural equipment sales experience.
Experienced visiting customers out on field.
Living on the sales territory.
