Quantity Surveyor
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £360 – £385/day Weekly Payments
I require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established company that works in the Electrical and building services sectors on a long term basis.
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects, from applications through to final account negotiation with our clients.
The quantity surveyor duties will include cost monitoring, variation and subcontract contract management.
Overview / Responsibilities:
• Plan, organise and manage the activities associated with the surveying of projects
• Analyse, identify and have knowledge of the conditions of contract, ensuring compliance and obligations are met by the project team.
• Maintain all contract commercial files required for substantiation of accounts utilising company’s documentation management system, workspace.
• Issue sub-contract orders and take responsibility for ensuring that all commercial and contractual aspects are satisfactorily considered and implemented
• To provide detailed financial reporting in accordance with company procedures.
• Provide detailed financial information on all financial aspects of a contract as required by our internal team.
• Familiarity with and carry out the duties of contract administration with relation to standard forms of contract i.e. NEC3, JCT etc.
• Review current commercial processes and provide ongoing development to ensure best practice.
• To provide detailed financial reporting in accordance with company procedures.
• Identify any variations/risks to contracted works. Producing estimates/quotations that detail the costs/risks/extension of time requirements as is necessary for submission to the client.
• Carry out monthly contract review meetings and prepare detailed job performance reports for works in progress.
• Any other ad hoc duties that the role might require
My client in return will offer stable works on a long term basis, paying £(Apply online only) a day based on experience plus any expenses.
