Python Developer
We are currently hiring for a python developer across different work streams for a leading global bank, with offices based in Dublin. The role will start off full-time remote, so we also welcome candidates from abroad who are willing to start remote but open to move to Ireland and go into the office later in the year.
The bank uses core python globally with plenty of new technologies on top. They are looking for great technologists to join who enjoy back-end python coding, enjoy challenges and clean code princples. The are different areas of the bank which are looking for talented python devs, either in Global Banking & Markets or Risk Management or Global Liquidity. Some tasks may involved application development, working on providing high quality code and data integration to help the firm develop new strategies and policies.
The core language used for development will be in a Linux build, multi-threaded environment, performance optimisation. The bank also uses innovative platforms like Hadoop and Impala. They implement a service orientated architecture, through ETL and data integration technologies, building automated big data pipelines. Other tech (depending on the team) may include: Nexus, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins
