Production Operative
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £12.50 – £13.46/annum
Our client, an successful and established business based in the Cambridge area, is seeking a Production Operative capable of taking on soil testing duties. The contract is a temporary one offering between 10 to 12 weeks of work. There is the opportunity to start immediately for the right candidate, following successful interview. The company work around core hours of 9 am to 4pm but offer a degree of flexibility. The total hours expected are around 40 per week.
The ideal candidate will :
* Thorough understanding of test and calibration procedures
* High level of precision and accuracy
* Experience in a demanding production environment.
* General manufacturing expertise and knowledge of best practice.
* Attention to detail
* Ability to use of optical equipment preferred.
* Good team communication skills
* Able to lift up to 20kgs
* Able to follow verbal/written commands
* Motivated to work on their own.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Hours – 40 per week ( flexible working around core hours available)
Rate of pay – Up to £13.46 depending on experience
