PROCESS MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
BACKGROUND
The company manufactures complex equipment at the cutting edge of technology
They supply to worldwide markets in the automotive, medical, aerospace and other industries and are known for their innovation and quality
Having invested heavily in the local site they are looking to expand rapidly over the next few years
The company is a high technology engineering manufacturing organization with a worldwide client base
PROCESS MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Duties include improving and defining new processes for the products released to manufacture following their design phase in site or central development engineering.
Able to mange NPI and CI projects from start to finish, realizing objectives
Drive implementation and maintenance of LEAN and CI practices across the organisation.
Drive culture of Manufacturing Engineering excellence
Process flow design and implementation
New machine/process introduction and the steps they would take to do this
Undertake process analysis including PFMEA and CPk, statistical analysis
Problem solving and risk management
PERSON
Understand NPD and NPI procedures and process.
Have awareness of scorecard KPIs, understand how Manufacturing Engineering actions and strategy effects site performance.
Process mapping
Control Plan development
PFMEA
Experience of lean manufacturing and six sigma
Statistical process control (SPC) – CPk, Gage R&R
5 Why and 8D analysis
