Print Finishing Operator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £25000/annum + Benefits
Print Finishing Operator. My client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire are looking for a Finishing Operator but my client would also consider a guillotine operator. You must have previous experience working within a print finishing department utilising folders, binders and guillotines. Please note this role will be on shift pattern of 2 weeks at 06:00 -13:30 and then 2 weeks at 13:30 – 21:00.
Key Accountabilities:
* Reduction of machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns
* Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets
* Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis
* To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed
* To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
* To box and label every job and prepare it for dispatch
* To implement maintenance tasks to plan
* To be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine
* To liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required.
