Pre-Works Coordinator (Highways)

Salary : £11.50 – £13/hour
Matchtech are excited to be working with a major Tier 1 Highways contractor in Birmingham, and as result we are currently recruiting several Pre-Works Coordinators.
Working on the Birmingham Interim Services contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring any maintenance repairs on the network are done within the target time to ensure KPIs are met. Our cleint are also looking for staff to work on the Commonwealth Games project also.
This roles will be working in an extremely fast paced environment, with daily reactive changes, and therefore they are looking for individuals with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills in an industry where progression is always available
The Planning repairs will be on:
Carriageways
Footways
Street Lighting
Arboriculture
Street Furniture
Drainage
Experience within the field is preferred but not essential, as some training will be provided.
Candidates ideally should have previous planning and scheduling experience.
responsibilities will be:-
· Validating Jobs and Enquiries for requirements
· Creating Stats Plans
· Organising traffic management
· Creating Programmes of work
· Scheduling Jobs in Confirm
· Keeping Confirm updated with any additional information required
Potential to go temp to perm. Perm salary reflective of £24,000 up to £26,000 (depending on experience)
