I'm working with a D&B that has been shaking things up in the market for a while! They need a confident and capable Pre Con and Commercial Managers, someone who is client facing and enjoys working in a team. Projects anywhere between £500k and £10m.
My client are known for how well they treat their staff, they're big on 5-aside football, social events and huge staff parties…this isn't a place to just come in and work, it's a place to be part of! Come and see for yourself!
Two roles available, both Pre con but 1 more senior than the other. A QS background would be amazing but key is that you are highly energetic and driven. There's a real buzz in the office and everyone bounces off eachother.
Core tasks:
ØPreparation of budgets and cost plans at concept stage, based on initial design intent information
ØIssuing and obtaining tenders from suppliers and subcontractors
ØNegotiation and preparation of sub-contractor/supplier terms and conditions
ØPreparation and maintenance of the contract documentation
ØCost control and variation agreement with client’s representatives
ØPreparing and communicating project account with client’s representatives at all stages
ØReporting project profit
