PCV Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £20 – £24/hour
My Client is a market leading bus operator looking for PCV Engineers.
Position will be offered on a long term or perm basis, depening on what will suite the candidate.
You will need to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles to keep ensuring the safety of the fleet and the comfort of their passengers
Responsibilities include:
•Inspecting and maintaining buses to specified standards
•Diagnosing faults efficiently and effectively by road testing vehicles using the latest diagnostic and test equipment. MOT testing.
•Undertaking efficient and effective mechanical, electrical and body repairs and road testing on completion, ensuring standards are met
•Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard
•Organising your daily workload
•Communicating and working effectively with a team and providing support to colleagues
•Flexibility
•Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met
Experience and skills:
* Engineering experience on coach/bus is essential.
* You will possess excellent diagnostic skills and be a good communicator.
* A full UK driving licence and a PCV licence is advantage.
