Partner Designate/Director (R.I) – Firm of Chartered Accountants – Sheffield

The Role

Barber McLelland is working as recruitment partners for one of the region's leading firms of Chartered Accountants. Due to experiencing significant growth across all areas of the firm along with future succession planning, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced accounting professional for the role of Partner Designate/Director.

Having experienced exceptional growth through referrals, acquisition and business development, the firm is seeking an individual who demonstrates the ambition, drive and appetite for success to match that which is already seen within the existing Partnership team.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful individual will become part of the firm's Senior Management Committee and will play a pivotal role in the long-term direction and success of the practice, as well as continuing to develop the high-quality provision of accountancy services to both existing and new clients.

The firm has an existing allocation of clients for which the successful applicant will be responsible, this will include smaller growing businesses through to large, well-established organisations with audit requirements.

In addition to the management of a portfolio, the firm will also encourage the successful individual to help identify new business opportunities as well as identify cross-selling and value-added opportunities within the existing client base.

Skills and Qualities

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA or ACCA and will be operating at Senior Manager or Partner Designate level with R.I status within an accountancy firm.

Applicants will already have a proven track record of managing a varied portfolio of clients within a General Practice environment with extensive experience in audit, accounting and taxation services.

Ideally, candidates would have spent at least 5 years post qualification in practice and developed skills in managing a portfolio of clients and a team of staff.

Individuals must also have a strong technical knowledge base where they can provide exceptional levels of client care and added value service.

Salary Package
