My client is a fast paced, expanding and multi-award-winning IFA based in Leicester and they now have an amazing opportunity for an experienced individual to join their team as a Paraplanner, with a fast-track development plan through to an Advisory role.

Role Purpose

* To provide efficient and compliant paraplanning support to the Advisers within the Company, utilising Intelligent Office and Zoho IT systems.

* To undertake personal development plan within the framework of ‘Trainee Financial Adviser’ which will include completion of CII Diploma level 4, should you not already have achieved this level

Principal Accountabilities

Analyse client data accurately

* Be able to analyse client information conscientiously and accurately in order to undertake the required support and research.

* Understand what client data is required and be able to apply all the company’s research systems to obtain and record the required information to support recommendations.

Prepare for advisers

* Understand clearly the aspects of the business process you are responsible for.

* Complete all basic documentation in a thorough and conscientious manner.

* Complete a self-assessment checklist when submitting new business.

* Prepare letters and reports ensuring they are clear and cater for all the areas covered in the FCA guidance /rules as well as the client’s specific needs.

* Prepare presentations, in a concise and balanced manner explaining clearly charges and disadvantages together with the main reasons for the advice.

Support duties

* Ensure all manual and electronic recording of information is maintained and complete.

* Oversee administration and processing to completion.

* Maintain good quality relationships with colleagues, providers and clients alike.

* Set up client files, ensuring relevant checklist/s is/are completed accurately.

Trainee Adviser

* To undertake personal development plan, including any required CII qualifications, to become a qualified Financial Adviser
