An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Supervisor to join an established and successful organisation based in the West Lancashire area. Reporting in to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for operations within the production process of a small mill. This is a permanent position and offers a competitive salary.

In this Operations Supervisor role, you will be responsible for:

Maintain maximum output and production flow
Adherence to safe working practices and Health and Safety instructions
Responsible for completion of all necessary paperwork
Keep production sheets and figures and send a report each month to relevant parties
Lead and oversee your team to ensure the team runs effectively
Ensure all training is relevant and up to date for the department

The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience in a similar production role, ideally within a mill environment You should have supervisory experience and be a motivated leader who can lead a team whilst working in a fast-paced working environment. An agricultural background or an interest in agriculture would also be advantageous.

The working hours are 8am-5pm, 40 hours working 5 days over 7 and the role offers an attractive salary £28,000 – £33,000 and benefits. This role is easily commutable within 30 min travel time from WN8 8TZ
