My client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their team as a Sales & Office Administrator. The client are a rapidly growing company headquartered in Stourbridge with offices also in the United States.
Supplying industrial lifting and material handling equipment throughout the world via our various online and digital platforms are core activities of the business.
The role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of our internal sales processes whilst building a sound understanding of customer service and product knowledge. Dealing with challenges and deadlines will be an everyday part of the job, so organisation and a positive mental attitude will be key to success.
Crisp communication and a good knowledge of computers (typing quickly and using the internet and emails well, in particular, is important).
Daily Duties:
* Processing sales and purchase orders
* Checking order acknowledgments
* Handling stock-outs
* Customer service
* Assisting our Export Department with administration
* Assisting our Warehouse/Shipping Department with administration: booking shipments and general tracking
* Responding to customer reviews
* Posting on social media
* Taking customer calls and online chats
* Communicating with suppliers
* Lots of emails
* General office housekeeping
* Getting involved wherever necessary to get the job done!
Application Requirements:
* Be ready and willing to start immediately
* Good experience of computers, emails/internet with good typing skills
* Sound communication and social skills
* Essential mathematics
* Be willing to go the extra mile and play as part of a team
