Are you a passionate and dedicated Lunchtime Nursery Practitioner? If so, we would love you to join us and become part of our Hungry Caterpillar Family. Each day you’ll have the opportunity to bring fun, joy, smiles and laughter to the children whilst providing safe, high quality education, care and positive outcomes for each child. Whilst this position will primarily be to supervise the children and support the team during the lunch period, it is the nature of working in a nursery that tasks and responsibilities are on occasion unpredictable and varied, so you’ll to be flexible and undertake reasonable duties as necessary.

The nursery is located at 29 High Street, Chalfont St Peter, SL9 9QE, in the heart of this vibrant village. Our beautifully renovated character building has plenty to offer the children indoors and in our extensive outdoor areas. Our team have a wonderful staff area away from the nursery rooms and with a dedicated kitchen fully stocked with drinks, snacks and the occasional treat. The extensive amenities of the village are on our doorstep with cafes, shops, beauty salons and a lovely park close by.

Experience / Qualifications – What you will bring to the role:

* Good communication skills, patience & passion, enabling you to build effective & lasting relationships that will reward you with love, pride & a sense of achievement you won’t find in other roles!

* Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

* Friendly and flexible with a sense of humour which allows you to see the silver lining of every situation and have fun each and every day

* Current Food Hygiene/First Aid certificates and previous experience working with young children would be desirable.

Key Information:

* Standard working hours are 15 hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, 11:30-14:30

* Flexible options include: additional hours can be picked up as and when required
