Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician

Borgers Ltd (a Company of Autoneum) based at Hortonwood 30 in Telford produces acoustically efficient components for automotive car manufacturers supplying to Jaguar Landrover, BMW, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce.
Overall purpose of the role:
Reporting to the on shift Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
* Maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment, including site services.
* A total preventative maintenance program, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming).
* Ensuring that all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is adhered to at all times.
* Supporting your team leader to ensure that the communication of information across shifts and departments is maintained.
The successful candidtate:
* Multi-skilled with pneumatic and hydraulic experience.
* Electrically qualified (ideally by completion of an apprenticeship).
* Siemens PLC and ABB robot experience gained within a high volume manufacturing environment, ideally automotive.
* Toolroom experience would additionally be advantageous.
The role is currently based on 2 shifts (42 hours per week) with occasional support, demand related, on a rota basis on nights.
