Our Glasgow branch is a large, high profile site with c2500 vehicles in fleet as well as being home to one of the busiest workshops in the country. As the lead branch in Scotland, it also provides valuable support to a further c.2000 vehicles from our Broxburn, Stirling and Aberdeen branches in the surrounding network.
The workshop has a team of 41, of which 13 are technicians and are an integral part of our business, alongside providing regional workshop support of other Northgate sites and large corporate fleet clients in the area.

We need your technical knowhow to combine with our supply partners state-of-the-art technology – this makes us an unbeatable combination. As you would expect we are using manufacturer diagnostic technology in all our workshops. Our aim is to ensure our customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customer to keep their promises.
We will provide training, both in house via our technical training business partners, and through the various manufacturers we work with. We want to work with you to build a long and successful career with Northgate.
The Role
Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety. You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.
You
You will be Level 2/3 qualified and have spent time served in the automotive sector or similar environment. The availability to work a two shift system (days and backs). A full driving licence is essential. We also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
