Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving agricultural mill in a picturesque village near Chipping Norton? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production/Machine Operative to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery efficiently and safely to meet production targets
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with product specifications
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar production or machine operative role is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts including days and nights
Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
We offer a competitive salary of £31,000 per annum, along with opportunities for career progression and a supportive work environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, providing stability and potential for long-term employment.
Shift Details: 48 hours per week, 3-week rotating pattern
Week 1: Friday, Saturday 6am-6pm (Days), Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm (Days)
Week 2: Starting Sunday 6pm, 6pm-6am night shift for 6 nights
Week 3: 6 days off
