Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE 

My client is looking to hire a talentedMiddleweight 3D Designer to join their world-class design team, to create show-stopping storytelling.  They work with brands to create extraordinary, inspiring and exciting pop ups, window displays and immersive experiences. From initial concepts, to the finishing touches of installation, they ensure to make every detail count.

The Role:

My client is looking for a highly creative and experienced 3D Designer with the ability to produce high-quality work. Experience working in the Luxury and Fashion sectors is essential. Demonstrated experience and understanding of good taste, quality and attention to detail, with strong experience in presenting in-house or to clients with clarity and professionalism. You will be Reporting to the Associate Design Director,

You will be joining a medium-sized design team in a vibrant, exciting, and creative environment. Working cross-departmentally, you will champion your creativity from design through to production and installation.

Ideal Experience:

3+ years of 3D design experience in a design agency/in-house for brands – ideally including experience in a retail design team, knowledge and experience of all things to do with creative retail; window displays, pop up shops, events and activations
Experience in luxury fashion and/or lifestyle/beauty, understanding the tone of voice and positioning of luxury brands

3D Visualisation Skills:

Good knowledge of Sketchup & Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & rendering software (ideally V Ray)
Knowledge/experience working with 3D modelling software is beneficial eg. C4D/Rhino or other digital platforms (Spark AR, Unreal etc.)

Skills/responsibilities:

Collaborating with peers to support fully-realised creative visions, and successfully handing over the design process to the Projects, Production and Technical Teams
An understanding of a range of materials, fabrication and assembly processes
Researching from diverse sources, including current and future industry trends, to pull together inspiring references that inform project direction
Mentoring more junior team members
Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability

Location: They currently work a hybrid model; 3 days a week from their East London studio and 2 flexible days.

Working Hours: Their normal working hours are 9am – 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available.
