Mechanical Services Engineer

Salary : £35000 – £48000/annum
An award-winning M&E Contractor focused on delivering residential/commercial projects in London are currently seeking an ambitious and driven Mechanical Services Engineer who is proactive and keen to progress within the Facilities Management division.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Services Engineer to join a growing team. The role will form part of an in-house facilities management team delivering building services maintenance to a prestigious hospitality site in Central London.
This person will report directly to the Facilities Manager and is also responsive to the needs of the Client.
Mechanical Services Engineer Role:
* Delivery of planned and reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment, and systems
* To meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements Assist other trades in completion of multi-disciplinary works as and when required
* To supervise specialist sub-contractors whilst on-site
* Monitor and review the BMS head-end Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as required
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
* Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and processes.
Mechanical Services Engineer reviewed:
* The ideal candidate must be time served with a relevant trade qualification
* You will have strong experience in commercial mechanical systems
* Computer systems competence including MS Word and Excel
* Highly organised and clear communicator
* Ability to understand technical documents Qualification
* Ability to understand technical documents Comply with recognised procedures and systems, and strive to deliver the best quality
* Successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions.
* Willingness to develop efficient ways of working
