Mechanical Fitter
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £34000/annum OTE c£40-£45k with Overtime
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Fitter to join our busy manufacturing team. You will be involved in the assembly of Automated machinery which will including using various hand tools including cutting machines to cut and build machine frames using from CAD designs. Build and set pneumatic units, piping and sensors for PLC systems. Some basic wiring will be involved. You will also be involved in installation and. Maintenance/breakdown visits where mechanical and electrical fault finding is required.
Strong technical background and assembly experience including.
* Ability to read and understand 2D & 3D CAD drawings.
* Understanding of pneumatics and Basic Wiring experience
* Able to operate a lathe and milling machine
* Have a good range of personal tools.
* Methodical approach to assembly and site installations.
* CCDL is required
* Product training will be provided
* Regular Overtime
