Salary: £35,000 p.a. + benefits
Fantastic opportunity for Bar Manager or General Manager with good staff and financial management experience (P&L, Budgeting, Labour Costing etc.) required for a successful sports bar in North West London.
The venue has a net turnover of between £15K and £20K per week and provides regular sports games, casual dining and events. You will be managing the team and be responsible for the smooth running of the service. You will play a key role in maintaining the venues reputation and driving its success. The Manager will over see 12 staff working a 42-hour shift and be confident in labour costs and budgeting as well as general Profit and Loss.
Duties:
· Oversee day to day operations of the site.
· Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and ambiance.
· Monitor inventory levels.
· Liaise with suppliers and ordering stock.
· Recruit, train, supervise and mentor staff.
· Schedule and manage staff rotas.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
· Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
· Manage customer queries through to resolution, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Monitor sales and expenditure.
· Explore new avenues for increasing customer engagement.
· Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar environment.
* Good knowledge of labour costs and general financial management such as budgeting, profit and loss etc.
* Must be a Personal license holder.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
* Financial acumen and budget management skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Opening hours of site:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 4pm to 11pm
Thursday: 4pm to midnight
Friday & Saturday: 12midday to midnight
Sunday: 12midday to 11pm
