NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained by Fertiglobe to recruit a flexible, full-time Manager of Market Intelligence, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
Fertiglobe is the world’s largest seaborne exporter of urea and ammonia combined, the largest producer of nitrogen fertilizers by production capacity in the MENA region, and an early mover in clean ammonia. As the Manager of Market Intelligence, you will be in charge of central management and consolidation of the global market analysis for Nitrogen, Ammonia and downstream products.
To give you an idea of how this Manager of Market Intelligence role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
Contributing to the analysis of the evolving low-carbon ammonia/hydrogen markets.
Developing Fertiglobe’s Point of View on key industry trends, short-term and long-term price forecasting, cost outlooks, market evolution, supply & demand analysis, trade flows, etc.
Liaising with different stakeholders: external and internal, including Industry Consultants, Fertiglobe’s Sustainability, Investor Relations, Business Development, Finance and other teams.
Interface with Fertiglobe’s regional commercial teams to develop a centralized point of view on the nitrogen market outlook, assisting with commercial planning and reporting, including Fertiglobe’s teams across regions and globally.
Provide market intelligence support with the development of internal projects, including commercial initiatives, and development projects with global reporting & data automation.
Representing Fertiglobe Global at industry conferences & events with occasional presentation opportunities.To apply for this Manager of Market Intelligence role, you will need at least ten years of experience in the fertilizer industry and knowledge of leading European fertilizer players. You will also require the following:
Understanding of European legislation on fertilizers/chemicals (CBAM knowledge is an advantage)
Willingness to work in cross-functional / cross-regional teams
