Management Accountant | 12 month Fixed term contract | Exciting business | Preston
Axon Moore are working with a growing business based in Preston who have a need for a Management Accountant on an initial 12 month contract with a strong possibility of going permanent.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, as the Management Accountant not only will you take ownership of the month end process but will be a key communicator across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Management accounts preparation
Assisting with month/year end processes
Monitor cash flow on a daily/weekly basis
VAT return preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ongoing system and control improvements
Maintaining fixed asset registers
Building relationships with stakeholders
Ad-hoc reporting
The ideal candidate will be newly/nearly qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA with strong organisational skills, high level communicator and strong excel skills.
