Job Type : Contract, Full Time

Salary : £50000 – £55000/annum

A market leading, UK business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to be based near Watford on a full time, contract basis. 3 Months FTC.
Working alongside the Finance Director, a highly capable management accountant is required to deliver monthly accounting activity whilst supervising an Accounts Assistant.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly accounting
* Managing the uploading of transactions onto Sage
* Reconciliation
* Accruals & Prepayment
* VAT Returns
* Budgeting & forecasting
* Mentoring and coaching an Accounts Assistant
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
* Experience of working to tight deadlines
* Solid understanding of control accounts and reconciliations
* Previous Sage experience and good all round Excel ability
* Must be willing and able to get involved/hands-on with day to day operational tasks around the management accounts and associated financial reporting
