Management Accountant
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Square Peg Associates are partnering with a family business based in Blackburn, who are looking to appoint a Temporary Management Accountant for approximately 6-8 week period in the New Year from Tue 03/01/2023.
The company are looking for help with the preparation of management accounts, transactional invoices, journals, reconciliations and month end.
Salary – £30,000 – £35,000 per annum based on an hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of management accounts
• Processing all invoices
• Maintaining a clean purchase and sales ledger
• Reconciliation of supplier statements, credit card and bank accounts with a high level of accuracy
• Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
• Credit Control
• Journals
• Expenses
• Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
Experience and skills:
• Experience in an all-round accounts role or similar accounting position
• Experience with accounting software Sage, Xero, or similar
• An AAT or PQ CIMA/ACCA or similar qualification would be an advantage
• A strong work ethic – proactive in your work, showing initiative
• Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
• Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
