Management Accountant (15-month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid working after 6 months)
Salary: £70,000 plus bonuses
Due to expansion, our prestigious and award-winning client is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a 15month FTC within a Top 10 global business.
This Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality financial support and information to senior management, directors and stakeholders within the business. Ultimately driving the finance agenda, playing an integral part of the decision-making process and to constantly seek improvements to existing business processes. As well as this you will be responsible for full P&L analysis, providing relevant insight and formulating strategies to drive performance. Translating the numbers and providing true business partnering across the value chain, as well as being responsible for the fixed asset register and associated processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the production and delivery of monthly accounts and supporting papers
Playing a key role in supporting the delivery of annual audit
Responsible for the monthly company forecast, and liaising with Group on matters arising
Develop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processes
Provide timely and robust financial analysis
Assist managers with the annual budgeting process and consolidate the company budget picture
Ensure internal controls and systems are effective and efficient, reviewing current systems to determine areas of continual improvement
Responsible for the Fixed Asset register
Billing/Cost Recognition and the preparation of contract summary packs
Essential Requirements
Degree level candidate or direct equivalent
Qualified Accountant
Advanced Level Excel user
SAP user
