Hours: 7-30am to 4-30pm mon to thurs; 7-30am to 2pm Friday – with some ad hoc overtime (obviously as this is a maintenance role)
Maintenance Engineer – Electrical and Mechanical – Benefits:
* 24 days holiday per year
* 2 x basic annual salary death in service benefit
* Sickness insurance (subject to acceptance / conditions from insurance company) of 75% of basic pay for up to 12 months
* Weekday overtime at time + 1/3
* Saturday overtime at time + 1/2
Maintenance Engineer – Electrical and Mechanical – The job:
* Ensure all health and safety maintenance requirements are met and according to schedule
* Breakdowns, planned maintenance and improvement projects
* Electrical upgrades / modernisation / re-wiring – rolling project to replace old wiring on power presses is a current priority for this role
* Machinery build and installations
* In house power press maintenance (training will be given) – some power press experience would be an advantage but is not essential
* Must be experienced (at least 5 years in a maintenance role) and time served (or modern equivalent) electrician
* Electrical – 17 / 18th edition essential
* Mechanical aptitude essential but the role is electrically biased
* Enthusiasm for hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering and problem solving
