We are working in conjunction with an exciting new setting based in the Redcar and Cleveland area. The setting is to work with two sets of pupils aged between 5 and 11 and 11 to 16 years of age. The setting will be part Academic based and part Forest School based working with pupils who are experiencing difficult circumstances.
The idea candidate will:
* Assist in providing a calming atmosphere
* Be patient and empathetic
* Set clear boundaries
* Have the ability to deescalate situations which may arise
* Build relationships and support emotional well-being of pupils in their care.
We are actively recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants level 3 trained to work on the Academic side of the setting. Candidates MUST have experience of working with pupils who are coping with difficult circumstances.
The role will be on a full time basis and is due to start in November 2021.

You will hold a minimum of Level 3 Qualification and be able to provide current references of previously working within a similar setting.
You will hold a current DBS or be willing to undergo an enhanced one.
