Conveyancing Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £23000/annum
A Conveyancing Assistant is required to join a small residential conveyancing department in the Huddersfield area. The Law graduate will join a conveyancing team which is part of an established private practice law firm.
The Firm
A private practice with offices in West Yorkshire and providing a comprehensive legal service to business and private individuals. The firm has a long history and have a fantastic working culture and atmosphere.
The Role
The Conveyancing Assistant duties will support the residential fee earner with their residential conveyancing case load and will involve dealing with all the aspect post exchange.
Duties
Duties will involve providing administration, file preparation after exchange, completion day procedural work, stamp duty submission, HM Land registration and other post completion tasks.
The Candidate
Previous Conveyancing Experience Of 6 Months Essential
Confident, personable and enthusiastic with excellent people skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent use of IT packages such as MS Office, Word and Excel
Preferably, good customer facing experience or work experience in a law firm in non contentious law.
