Our client is a rapidly growing and award-winning full-service law firm, and they are seeking a Compliance Helpdesk Administrator to join the compliance team.
Reporting directly to the Legal Risk & Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in addressing daily compliance queries and upholding the highest legal and regulatory standards.
Serving as the primary contact for internal risk and compliance inquiries, offering legal compliance guidance to firm employees.
Duties:
Address internal risk and compliance queries.
Provide legal compliance guidance to firm employees.
Process daily risk and compliance queries.
Review and respond to issues related to various compliance areas.
Report findings to the Risk & Compliance Manager.
Record and monitor daily compliance queries, contributing to monthly reports.
Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the Risk & Compliance Manager.
Perform ad-hoc compliance tasks delegated by the Risk & Compliance Manager.
Maintain the firm's compliance registers.
Assist with and maintain referrals records.
Assist with compliance file audits.
Maintain the firm's online training platform.
Assist with new starter compliance engagement.
Support the Risk & Compliance Manager with practicing certificate renewals.
Handle other associated compliance administration.
Support the Compliance Administration Assistant as needed.
Collaborate with the Compliance Team to ensure adherence to the firm's plans, policies, and procedures.
Promote a culture of compliance within the firm.
Person Specification:
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining consistently high standards.
Strong IT skills are essential.
A degree is preferable with at least one year of compliance experience in the legal industry and knowledge of Money Laundering Legislation and SRA regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and approachability are crucial for success in this role
