Salary : £30000 – £60000/annum

My client is searching for a Private Client Solicitor or Fee Earner to join their Portsmouth, Hampshire offices.
Job Purpose:
• To advise the firms’ clients on all Private Client matters to include: Wills, Probate & POA.
• To build strong client relations at all times.
Duties
• Drafting wills and preparation of trusts
• Preparing powers of attorney
• Estate administration
• Advising on inheritance tax
• Keeping clients up to date with progress on their matter
• Marketing and promoting the team to increase revenue streams including production of articles and content
• Providing assistance with training and development of other team members
• Providing assistance to other fee earners in the Firm as required
• Minimising risk in dealing with all work and ensuring all files are managed in accordance with the Firm’s risk and file management procedures
• Carrying out all work in accordance with procedures and systems documented in the Office Manual, and the Firm’s training seminars.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 1-year PQE;
• 2 x A Levels or equivalent
• Law degree or equivalent
• Experience of working in a busy office
The post holder will:
• Contribute to the successful overall performance of the firm.
• Create and maintain effective partnerships/relationships with colleagues, clients and the general public.
• Develop and support the culture of collaboration and commitment to delivering quality services and outcomes.
• Comply with the principles and standards set out by the firm in the office manual.
