Patent Attorney
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £80000/annum
Cambridge – Patent Attorney – £50k-£80k – Consumer Devices
This is an excellent opportunity to work with my Cambridge-based client, who are innovators in technical solutions for consumer devices. You will take a high degree of IP/legal responsibility for assigned business areas, assist with the continued development of the IP function, and contribute in many different ways to the company’s continued growth.
Main Duties:
+ Helping to grow the company’s IP portfolio
+ Taking responsibility for IP and other legal issues for products
+ Developing a high degree of technical expertise and industry knowledge
+ Drafting patent applications and managing patent drafting by outside counsel
+ Filing and prosecuting patent applications in the UK and Europe
Key Requirements:
+ UK and European qualified patent attorney
+ Post-qualification experience
+ Good understanding of the physics and the design of mechanical devices
+ Excellent patent drafting skills
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this permanent role can range from £50k-£80k per annum, depending on relevant experience
+ The office is based in Cambridge, but there are hybrid working options available
