Learning & Development Officer – 3 days per week – £30,000 pro rata- Part remote working!
We are currently recruitng for a lovely Housing provder located in Lambeth.
They are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Officer to team their team.
This is a part time role working 3 days per week, you must be able to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tuesdays will be based in the office, the other two days can be remote working.
Overall Aim
* Assist in the design and implementation of a learning and development strategy including appropriate key performance indicators
* Work proactively with managers to identify learning and development needs for teams and individuals and build a training plan
* Ensure the provision of appropriate training, learning and development interventions to meet identified needs
* Manage applications for support for professional qualifications and monitor take up and progress
* Monitor the take up of interventions for quality, value for money, diversity etc in line with the key performance indicators
Principle Accountabilities
* Oversee the learning and development process for all levels of positions across the business
* Identify and commission in-house trainers and external courses as appropriate and ensure post-training feedback to determine future use
* Contribute to the design and delivery of in-house training as appropriate
* Ensure that feedback is sought and obtained following every L&D intervention and use the information to assess its effectiveness
* Ensure that managers have included training needs in the induction programme for new starters and that have devised a training programme.
* Promote the companys policies on professional qualifications and manage the process
* Make full use of the in-house HR system (Cascade) for training, learning and development purposes
* Provide regular reports and analysis on the learning and development function with recommendations for improvement
* Monitor expenditure in line with the budget ensuring value for money; provide reports as required on expenditure
* Liaise closely with the HR Administrator to enable them to provide effective administrative support for the L&D function
Other Duties
• Attend meetings, conferences, courses and training sessions as required
• To undertake all duties in accordance with the Association’s policies and procedures.
• To undertake any other duties which are commensurate with the level of the post as requested by the Director of Finance & Resources or the HR Manager
