We are working with a very reputable and exciting consultancy business that provides valuable advice, strategic planning and support to farmers, landowners, and tenants from Cambridgeshire up to the Scottish borders.

They provide an outstanding service to their clients with in-depth and original advice, which has given them an excellent reputation with clients leading to a strong portfolio of long-term clients.

The Job

With a preexisting client base there will be plenty of work for you to get your teeth sunk straight into, you won't be going into this role starting on zero.

The role will suit someone with strong business development acumen, who enjoys being out in front of farmers and landowners winning new business, with a strong team of support staff in the office you will be able to focus on preparing comprehensive and bespoke business planning for each client suiting their individual needs, whether that may be focusing on maximizing commercial production or exploring a more environmental direction, this will require someone who can use their initiative to think, plan and execute their own original work.

In addition to the consultancy and business development aspects of the role, as the lead consultant you will be joining as senior leadership which means managing and aiding in the development of the existing team, whilst also being a involved in devising strategy and tactics for the company to ensure their continued reputation and growth in perpetuity.
