HOURS:  Mon- Fri 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. 35 h.p.w.

LOCATION: CR0 1HA

DESCRIPTION:

Eldon Housing Association is an established provider of Sheltered Housing and Facilities Management Services. We are proud to provide high standards of service to frail older people.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Laundry Domestic who is Passionate, Professional and Caring to be part of our team.

The Role:

You will work as part of an experienced and committed facilities management team at our various schemes within the Croydon area where you will be responsible for providing a high standard laundry service, dealing with high volumes of laundry, often within tight timeframes. Your duties will also include assisting as Domestic Assistant as and when required.

Key Skills and Experience:

You will have a meticulous approach to your work, ensuring that standards of cleanliness are maintained at the required level whilst also upholding health and safety.  You will have proven similar experience, ideally within a commercial laundry / contract cleaning environment, although it is not essential for this to be within a care home. You must be a Team Player and have a hands-on approach with a keen attention to detail and be able to work using your own initiative in a methodical and highly organised manner.

As this role will be based within a care home it is essential that you are respectful and sensitive to the residents needs and privacy and demonstrate a warm and caring attitude to the resident all times.
