Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Landscaping Site Supervisor local to Wakefiled and seeking an Annual Salary rate of its £26,249 – £31,498 (40 hours per week) & want a great working environment?We are looking for dynamic people to maintain to organise and motivate various sites, ensuring all grounds maintenance services are delivered to a high standard which meets customer expectations.

Our client most predominant work streams are Arboriculture and vegetation management, alongside habitat creation, landscaping and aquatic restoration projects.

This is a demanding but rewarding role and will require you to work in all different terrains and weather.

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Organise the team, ensuring all required resources are taken to site
Initial site set up and management of operations team in line with hand over from Contracts Supervisor
Site supervision of project works to include supervision of in-house and sub-contractor teams
To deliver projects on time, highlighting to the Contracts Supervisor any delays and offer solutions to potential downtime
Maintain an awareness of costs and be able to identify if savings are possible through efficiency and innovative ways of working
Assist the Contracts Supervisor with the creation of safe systems of work, and associated methodologies
Assist Contracts Supervisor with programming and being responsible for scheduling during periods of the Contract Supervisors absence
To mentor and supervise an apprentice/trainee, acting as a point of contact with support from HR and the Contracts Supervisor
Ensure regular maintenance checks on all equipment is documented and any defects reported to the Contracts Supervisor
To complete all SHEQ procedural paperwork as required for health and safety files on projects
To arrive onsite at the agreed start time as previously arranged with the client and to be well presented at all times
To maintain, undertake and complete any required internal and/or external training necessary for this role as identified by the Organisation
To work as part of a team, or by yourself and be willing to work away from home when required
They are providing a nationwide service so you will be required to travel on a regular basis, and this will include nights away from home. Accommodation and subsistence will be provided.

It is essential that you have:

Full UK Driving Licence
A current CSCS card
A minimum of 3 years relevant site experience
Previous experience of supervising site works in a similar or relevant industry
It would also be great if you have:

PA1/PA6aw Safe Application of Pesticides
CPCS/NPORS qualifications
CDM Awareness
Brush Cutter/strimmer
NTPC CS30/31 or equivalent
Safe Working Near Water
SMSTS qualified
Chipper
First Aid at Work
Tractor training
B+E trailer experience
