Job type: Temporary and/or permanent: our client has a permanent KP vacancy however would also consider someone who is available temporarily to start immediately.
Summary
As Kitchen Porter you will play an important part within a busy school kitchen, working alongside the rest of the Catering team.
Responsibilities:
* Loading/unloading dishwashers
* Washing pots, pans, utensils and other cooking equipment
* Assistant chefs with basic food prep
* Maintain kitchen hygiene
* Ensure all areas al kept clean and tidy
* Assist with food storage upon delivery
* Oversee all food is stored correctly and expiry dates monitored
DBS certificate: Essential. If you do not have a current DBS certificate we will be able to apply for one on your behalf
