*The Role*
Working closely with the Head Chef and Management, you will be committed to ensuring the smooth daily operation of the kitchen by always communicating openly and effectively. Undertaking all duties reasonably required of you will be key to the continued success of the business, and you will be expected to uphold the
company brand standards at all times.
Main duties will include:
* Establishing and maintaining an excellent rapport with all stakeholders
* Storing, handling and preparation of food within your section
* Cleaning and sanitising all workspaces, utensils, and equipment frequently
* Conforming to Food Hygiene and Allergen laws
* Managing and recording of wastage
* Putting away deliveries in a timely manner – recording temperatures and checking packaging for quality and safety
* Reporting concerns and hazards promptly
* Demonstrating a good level of knowledge with regards to all matters pertaining to Health, Hygiene, Allergen and general Safety within the workplace
Essential
* Experience within a similar role
* Food Hygiene – L2
* Allergen training
Desirable
* Coronavirus / Covid-19 certificate / training
* First Aid certificate
* Fire Safety, Fire Extinguisher and Manual Handling trained
* COSHH | RIDDOR | HACCP knowledge
Due to the location, being able to drive is advantageous
