junior sous chef – Japanese hot kitchen
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum plus tips
Chef (Hot kitchen) within a Japanese restaurant, this role is of a junior sous chef level. The hot kitchen creates a range of high standard hot dishes for the Restaurant. This is a very hands on role and you will be running the hot section, we need someone who can manage the hot dishes on this japanese restaurant menu. The Restaurant also serves alot of sushi dishes which are managed by the sushi team. This role will include all the standard chef duties working on the hot section. £40-45k +tips. Japanese experience would be great but not essential, as training will be given.
the role
we are looking for a chef for the Hot kitchen / meat section of this japanese section. this restaurant has a core sushi focus but this role will be for the hot kitchen / meat kitchen. this role would of of a junior sous chef type of level, you will ensure the kitchen section is ready for service and cook your hot kitchen dishes / meat dishes in service. This role will include all the normal chef duties of a hot kitchen chef, at a junior sous chef type of level.
Experience
We are looking for a chef with hot kitchen and meat experience. You will be organised and have a good knife skills. Ideally you will have some japanese experience but this is not essential
