Salary: £30,000 plus approx £100 tips per week
Job Type: Full Time, 40 hrs – very rarely more than 40 hours
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a fantastic stylish restaurant and bar. This is a great opportunity for a talented chef with a passion for great food and people. This role provides the opportunity for a talented aspiring chef to join a fantastic established team. You will have the ability to support the Head Chef in running the kitchen operations and will be rewarded with great career progression opportunities.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a chef de partie /Junior Sous chef role
Have a passion for delivering great menus.
Strives to continuously learn & develop.
Willing to learn and enthusiastic can do attitude.
The Person:
Great people person and culture focused.
Excellent team player, able to support both the Head and Sous Chef and junior kitchen team members.
Passionate about fresh food and is always looking for opportunities to develop the menu.
Standards-focused – able to maintain consistency.
