Job Title: Junior IT Helpdesk Analyst
* Salary: £22,000
* Hours: 37.5-hour week (9-5 during training and 10-6pm thereafter)
* Location: Bristol (free onsite parking)
We seek a Junior IT Helpdesk Analyst to join an experienced helpdesk/service desk team. This is a busy IT department with a record of promotion from within offering genuine career development.
Working as part of a team your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
* Answering, recording and responding to all incoming calls and emails to the Group IT Helpdesk.
* Analysing and resolving incidents from all areas of the business within agreed service levels, ensuring 1st/2nd line resolution is achieved wherever possible.
* Taking full ownership of incidents, ensuring accurate and timely updates are provided to customers and maintained within the Group IT Helpdesk System.
The successful applicant will have a keen interest in working within an IT Helpdesk environment and troubleshooting issues with PC hardware and peripherals. Knowledge of installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and the administration of Active Directory would be advantageous.
In addition to these skills the successful candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload effectively.
